A high-quality, exotic, brilliantly vibrant, and elegant annual climbing Cobaea variety (also known as Mexican Bellflower), delighting gardeners and vertical landscaping enthusiasts with its rapid growth, aristocratic flowers, and superior quality. This elegant ornamental plant is specially suited for safe and stable cultivation along garden fences, gazebos, patio walls, and in large balcony pots with supports, providing unusually long, visually perfect, and strongly branched shoots. The plants grow unusually lush and strong, boasting smooth, dark green leaves and sturdy tendrils that help them climb upwards independently, adorned with enormous, snow-white bell-shaped flowers. Toraf packaging guarantees excellent, professionally selected seed quality and maximum germination rates for a successful and generous start to the vertical garden season.
🌱 Suitable for:
- Vertical landscaping and hedges: This is one of the most impressive annual climbing plants, indispensable for quickly covering bare walls, fences, garden arches, pergolas, and gazebos with greenery and flowers.
- Romantic and "white garden" compositions: The white Cobaea variety is ideally suited for gardeners creating elegant, bright, and visually clean garden corners, as the white flowers literally glow at night and dusk.
- Creating privacy zones on terraces and balconies: An excellent choice for planting in large, deep containers along balcony railings or patio walls to grow a dense, green curtain against neighbors' views within one summer.
- Lovers of exotic and unusual flowers: The flowers look fantastic – they resemble huge, exquisite bells with prominent stamens, giving the garden a tropical and luxurious feel.
✨ Main advantages:
- Gigantic and elegant snow-white bell-shaped flowers: The flowers of this variety reach an incredible size of 6 to 8 centimeters. Unlike the heraldic purple Cobaea, this variety opens in a soft greenish-yellow and, as it blooms, transforms into a pure, magnificent, and elegant white color.
- Incredibly rapid growth rate: In good conditions and a warm summer, Cobaea shoots develop with immense vigor, reaching lengths of up to 3 to 4 meters in one season and providing a huge amount of green mass.
- Strong and self-climbing tendrils: At the ends of the leaves, the plant forms distinctly branched and sturdy tendrils (whips) with which it firmly and securely attaches itself to any net, trellis, or rough surface without additional tying.
- High-quality hybrid strength and durability: The plant possesses an excellent ability to adapt to varying Latvian summer and autumn weather conditions. It tolerates autumn chill well and continues to bloom continuously until the first serious frosts.
- Excellent seed germination and vigor: Professionally selected large seeds from Poland's leading brand Toraf stand out with high germination power, ensuring strong and dynamic development of young seedlings.

⚙️ Growing instructions and recommendations:
- Soil selection and preparation: Cobaea requires a completely sunny, warm, distinctly wind-sheltered location and fertile, loose, humus-rich, and well-drained soil. In heavy, cold, and poor clay soil, the plant will develop slowly and bloom weakly.
- Sowing times and specifics: For the plant to grow properly and bloom profusely, seeds should be sown very early – for seedlings indoors from late February to March. Before sowing, it is recommended to soak the seeds in warm water for several hours (or even overnight) to soften their hard coating. Sow seeds one by one in individual pots about 1–1.5 cm deep, placing them flat. Maintain a high temperature (around +20–22°C); germination can take 2–3 weeks.
- Seedling care and planting out: Small twigs or sticks should be placed in the pots for young seedlings in time so that they do not intertwine. Hardened seedlings are planted in their permanent location in open ground or large outdoor pots only in late May or early June, when the danger of spring frosts has completely passed, as Cobaea is very sensitive to cold in its initial phase.
- Care and watering: To ensure gigantic growth, the plant requires regular and generous watering (the soil must not dry out) and regular fertilization once a week with a complex fertilizer for flowering plants. Be careful with excessive nitrogen fertilizer in spring, so that the plant does not only grow leaves, delaying flowering.
