The British Gamble variety boasts a distinctly strong, stately, and tall stature, reaching approximately 40 to 50 centimetres in height. It forms thick, rigid, and exceptionally stable flower stalks and neat, strap-shaped greyish-green leaves. The plant is excellently suited to the changeable and capricious spring weather, as the massive stems proudly stand against gusty winds and heavy rain, safely carrying the weight of the large flowers.
The culmination of flowering occurs in mid-spring, most often in late April and May. On each stem, one gigantic, proud flower blooms, whose diameter can reach an incredible 12 to 14 centimetres. The main splendour of this variety lies in its unique play of colours and form. The outer perianth petals are large, smooth, arranged in impeccable symmetry, and shimmer in a pure, sparkling snow-white colour. In the centre is a very large, expanded, funnel-shaped corona or trumpet with a distinctly wavy and ruffled edge. At the beginning of blooming, this corona is a delicate cream colour with a distinct yellow rim, but as it catches the spring sun's rays, it undergoes a magical transformation, gradually turning into a refined, warm, and romantic apricot-pink tone. The flowers emit a pleasant, delicate, and sweet fragrance.

- Planting time: Bulbs are planted in autumn, usually from mid-September to late October. It is advisable to plant daffodils early, while the soil is still warm, so that they can successfully develop a strong root system before winter frost sets in.
- Location and soil: Will thrive best in full sun or bright, light semi-shade. The better the light, the more expressive and vibrant the transformation of the corona's pink tones will be. The soil should be rich in organic matter, fertile, loose, and absolutely well-drained. The plant does not tolerate standing spring or winter moisture and heavy clay.
- Planting depth: Bulbs are planted approximately 12 to 15 centimetres deep, observing the rule that the planting depth should be three times the height of the bulb. When planting, it is advisable to leave a distance of approximately 12 to 15 centimetres between them so that each gigantic flower has room to unfold.
- Winter hardiness and care: A fully hardy perennial bulb flower that overwinters excellently in the ground in Latvian winters without additional covering. In one place, they can grow undisturbed, spread, and bloom for years, returning more lush each spring.
