High-quality, multi-stemmed (polyploid), and exceptionally high-yielding semi-sugar fodder beet variety for growing healthy and nutritious livestock feed. Specially developed for the needs of agricultural and home farms, ensuring flawless seed germination and a massive, nutrient-rich root harvest in the active growth zone. It is an indispensable and reliable helper for growing fodder, greening garden fields, and providing high-quality succulent feed during the winter months, guaranteeing a strong root system, rapid leaf growth, and protecting plants from drying out.
🌱 Suitable for:
- For growing succulent feed for livestock: Excellently suited for home farms and rural homesteads where high-value and nutritious feed for cows, sheep, goats, pigs, and rabbits is needed.
- For increasing milk yield in winter: Ideal for feeding dairy cows and goats, as these semi-sugar beets improve digestion, increase appetite, and naturally promote milk yield.
- For long-term storage in cellars: Ideal for harvesting in autumn and storing during winter and spring months, as this variety is exceptionally resistant to rotting and wilting.
- For sowing fields and home gardens: Excellent for sowing in prepared rows both with hand tools in smaller areas and with specialized machinery in small fodder fields.
✨ Key advantages:
- Valuable semi-sugar composition: The roots contain an optimal amount of dry matter and natural sugars, making the feed much more nutritious than regular beets, and livestock eat them with great appetite.
- Huge and stable yield potential: The 'Zentaur Poly' variety forms large, smooth, elongated, and oval yellow-white roots with exceptionally high total mass yield per square meter.
- Very easy and convenient harvesting: The beets grow relatively high above the ground (only about 40% of the root is in the soil), making them very easy to pull by hand in autumn, and they are clean from mud.
- Excellent resistance to diseases and drought: This variety has a low risk of contracting beet leaf spot (Cercospora), and its strong root helps it withstand short summer heatwaves.
- 100% high-quality and professionally selected material: Seeds are carefully cleaned, calibrated, and prepared for sowing, ensuring maximum safety for the surrounding environment, people, and animals.

⚙️ Instructions for use and proportions:
- Soil preparation in spring: Choose a sunny location with deep, fertile and well-dug or ploughed soil. Before sowing, it is advisable to enrich the soil with compost or suitable fertilizer and level the furrows.
- Sowing seeds (April/May): Sow seeds directly in open ground in furrows when the soil has warmed up (usually from the second half of April to early May). The sowing depth is approximately 2–3 cm, with a distance between furrows of about 45–50 cm.
- Thinning seedlings: When the beets develop their first true leaves, thin the seedlings, leaving a distance of approximately 15–20 cm between the young plants so that each root can grow large and strong.
- Care and watering: At the beginning of growth, regularly weed the furrows and loosen the soil between them. If there is a prolonged drought in early summer, it is advisable to water the field moderately to promote better root development.
