A premium, ecologically clean, and highly productive tall-growing pink-red tomato variety that delights gardeners with its huge, juicy, and distinctly meaty fruits. Beefsteak is a legendary large-fruited tomato variety, prepared in the Organic Way series in strict compliance with natural cultivation and purity. These tomatoes are an absolute favourite among gardeners because they combine impressive fruit size with an old-fashioned, rich, and distinct flavour bouquet. The 0.1-gram package provides excellent seed germination and offers strong, naturally resistant seedlings for the new gardening season.
🍅 Suitable for:
  • For growing in glass and plastic greenhouses: As tall-growing plants, they maximize vertical space, ensuring a stable and abundant harvest until autumn.
  • For growing in open fields in sunny locations: Successfully produces and ripens fruits in garden beds outdoors, provided a sunny, warm, and wind-protected spot is available.
  • For fresh consumption and salads: An ideal choice for classic summer salads, burgers, sandwiches, and cold appetizers, thanks to the fruits' thick and multi-chambered structure.
  • For homemade sauces, juices, and soups: As the flesh is very dense and contains few watery seed chambers, these tomatoes are excellent for making thick sauces or aromatic juices.
Key Advantages:
  • Huge and meaty fruits: Tomatoes grow impressively large, heavy, and flat-round, reaching an average weight of 200 to 400 grams (and even more in good conditions).
  • Traditional, expressive taste and aroma: This variety offers a full-bodied, juicy, and distinct tomato flavour balance with low acidity, highly valued by true gourmets.
  • Excellent "beefsteak" type structure: The inside of the tomato is dense, uniform, and has few seeds, making it easy to slice into neat, thick slices that hold their shape.
  • Strong and continuous growth energy: Tall-growing bushes form very strong shoots and a powerful root system, ensuring the full ripening of large fruits.
  • Ecological choice for the garden: Seeds are produced and selected according to Organic Way natural principles, ensuring a clean and healthy start without chemical additives.

⚙️ Growing instructions and recommendations:
  • Seedling cultivation: Sow seeds in seedling trays or individual pots in March and April, about half a centimeter deep. Ensure constant warmth (+20°C to +22°C) and maximum light. Once the seedlings have fully developed their first true leaves, prick them out.
  • Planting out: Hardened young plants are planted in a greenhouse or garden beds in the second half of May or early June, when the risk of spring frosts has completely passed. The recommended planting distance is approximately seventy by fifty centimeters.
  • Pruning and essential support: As this is a tall tomato variety, the plants absolutely require very stable and strong support (strings or sturdy, long stakes). It is recommended to train the bush to one or two main stems, regularly breaking off all side shoots or suckers.
  • Watering: Water tomatoes regularly, directly at the root, preferably in the morning with warm, settled water. To ensure full ripening of the huge fruits and prevent cracking, avoid drastic fluctuations in soil moisture during the growing season.
📦 Storage:
Until sowing, store seeds in a dry, cool, and dark place, in their original and tightly sealed packaging. Protect from moisture and direct sunlight.
