A high-quality, unusual, and highly sought-after double late tulip (Double Late Tulip) variety among gardeners, which surprises spring gardens and terraces with its incredibly exotic appearance, literally resembling a lavish dessert. Ice Cream Banana is one of the most unique and visually stunning tulips in the world. Its bud forms a striking composition as it blooms – the base of the flower and outer petals are surrounded by rich purplish-violet and greenish tones, while in the middle and upper part of the flower, a huge, densely packed, bright yellow and creamy "ball" of petals forms, precisely imitating an ice cream scoop in a cone. The highest quality 11/12 size bulbs contain the maximum concentration of nutrients, guaranteeing strong growth and exceptionally lush flowering already in the first spring. The exclusive 3-bulb pack is a perfect choice for collecting this garden rarity and creating a premium accent.🌷 Suitable for:
- Exclusive and eye-catching garden design: This tulip is created to be the main star of the garden – it is a perfect choice for planting in the most visible spot, central flower beds, or near the house entrance, where it will attract the attention of every passerby.
- Growing in decorative pots and terrace planters: Thanks to its excellent decorative effect and sturdy stem, this variety is ideally suited for planting in beautiful outdoor flower pots, which will transform your balcony or terrace into a gourmet oasis in late spring.
- Premium quality cut flower bouquets and floristry: These tulips are a dream for florists and masters of exclusive compositions – the large, double flowers look like a work of art in a vase and retain their structure and vibrant colors for a long time.
- Collectors of exotic plants and garden rarities: An excellent and valuable gift for any passionate gardener who appreciates unusual breeding achievements and wants to see the world's most sought-after tulip varieties in their collection.
✨ Key advantages:
- Unique and unbeatable "ice cream" visual effect: The bright yellow center of the flower combined with the dark purple base creates an inimitable visual image that completely stands out against any other tulip varieties.
- Excellent and stable 11/12 bulb size: This professional premium caliber contains the highest life energy, which is critically important for this complex and densely double variety to bloom in full splendor in spring.
- Distinctly dense, peony-like double flowers: The flower consists of countless layers of petals that bloom gradually and slowly, ensuring that each flower bud is voluminous, heavy, and looks incredibly luxurious.
- Strong, sturdy, and stable stem: Despite the large and heavy flower head, the plant forms a distinctly robust stem (approx. 35–45 cm in height), which can perfectly hold the flower straight, stably resisting spring winds and rain.
- Long-lasting flowering period in late spring: As this is a late double tulip, it blooms when early varieties have already finished, beautifully concluding the spring bulb flower season in the garden.

⚙️ Planting instructions and recommendations:
- Site and soil selection: Tulips prefer an open, sunny, warm, and maximally well-lit spot in the garden. The soil should be loose, light, fertile, deeply worked, and rich in humus (sandy loam or clay-sandy soil). It is desirable to ensure neutral soil acidity (pH 6.5–7.0) and, crucially, excellent water permeability. This exclusive variety absolutely dislikes standing moisture and waterlogged clay, which can cause bulbs to rot. When growing in a pot, a 3 cm thick layer of expanded clay for drainage must be poured at the bottom.
- Planting depth and spacing: The planting depth for bulbs should be equal to three times the height of the bulb (for 11/12 size, this is on average 10 cm deep from the base of the bulb to the soil surface). The recommended distance between bulbs in the bed is approximately 10 cm, but in pots, they can be planted slightly denser to achieve a maximally lush effect. All 3 bulbs in the package are recommended to be planted together in a compact group or to use special bulb planting baskets, which will protect this treasure from rodents.
- Care in spring and after flowering: As soon as the first shoots appear in spring, carefully loosen the soil around them and apply complex spring fertilizer. During flowering and active growth, if spring is dry, regular watering must be provided. Once the tulips have finished flowering, the old flower heads must be broken off or cut off (seed pods) so that the plant does not expend energy on seeds, but rather directs all its energy to developing a new, strong bulb underground.
- Leaf preservation and lifting: After flowering, tulip leaves and stems must not be cut off until they naturally yellow and dry out (usually by the end of June or July) – the bulb receives valuable nutrients through the leaves. To maintain high varietal quality and protect against diseases, it is highly recommended to lift Ice Cream series tulip bulbs every year in mid-summer, thoroughly dry them in a warm, ventilated room, and replant them in autumn.
📦 Storage until planting:
Store tulip bulbs in a dry, cool (approximately +15°C to +18°C), dark, and well-ventilated room, in breathable (paper or net) packaging until planting time in autumn. Protect from moisture and rodent access.
