• Seedling preparation: Sow seeds in individual pots (e.g., 11x11 cm seedling pots) in late April or the first half of May at a depth of approximately 1.5–2 cm. For quick germination, ensure constant warmth (+22°C to +25°C) and a well-lit windowsill.
• Planting in the garden: Transplant young seedlings outdoors or in a greenhouse in late May or early June, when the risk of spring frosts has completely passed. Planting distance – approximately 80–100 cm between plants.
• Location selection: Choose the sunniest, warmest, and most wind-protected location. Excellent results can be achieved by planting watermelons on black agro-film, which additionally warms the soil in spring.
