• Soil and site selection: Cucumbers need a sunny, sheltered location and loose, organic-rich, warm soil. It is recommended to grow them in soil after compost has been incorporated.
• Sowing time and depth: Sow seeds directly outdoors from mid-May to early June, when the soil temperature has reached at least +12°C to +15°C. Sowing depth: 1.5–2 cm.
• Sowing scheme (spacing): Sow in rows, maintaining a distance of 80–100 cm between rows. Sow seeds in the row every 15–20 cm (2–3 seeds per cluster, later thin out the weaker seedlings).
