A high-quality, medium-early heterozygous hybrid variety (Regina F1), specifically developed to ensure abundant yields and maximum garden safety. This Polish-bred hybrid from manufacturer Toraf stands out for its vigorous growth and a distinct predominance of female flowering, guaranteeing an exceptionally high and uniform fruit set. The fruits are visually flawless – neat, symmetrical, with a vibrant green color, light, bright stripes, and an almost smooth skin, featuring only a few sparse warts with white spines. These seeds are the most reliable choice for any gardener seeking top-grade field cucumbers that maintain their shape perfectly and never deform

🌱 Suitable for:
  • Premium class for canning and pickling: This variety is recognized as one of the best for canning – during processing, the cucumbers perfectly retain their firmness, crispness, and vibrant color.
  • For traditional fermentation and salting: An excellent choice for traditional fermentation – thanks to their excellent pulp quality and dense structure, they do not become soft or form hollows.
  • For fresh consumption and summer salads: Cucumbers are very crispy, delicious, and completely free of bitterness, making them an excellent, refreshing snack directly from the garden for the whole family.
  • For cultivation in home gardens in open fields: Thanks to the plant's strong vigor and ability to withstand unfavorable conditions, the hybrid shows excellent results in standard home garden beds.
Key advantages:
  • Exceptionally high disease resistance: Regina F1 is an outstanding champion in terms of health – the variety has high tolerance to downy mildew, as well as excellent resistance to scab, mosaic virus (CMV), and bacterial diseases, which allows for minimizing chemical protection in the garden.
  • Fruits never deform: This variety has a unique genetic characteristic – the fruits very rarely deform or become crooked, ensuring a visually perfect and uniform commercial appearance.
  • Protection against bitterness and yellowing: Cucumbers are genetically protected against bitterness and do not become bitter even in hot summers, nor do they yellow for extended periods in the field or after harvest.
  • Female flowering type: Most flowers are female (producing), meaning that each plant forms a maximum number of fruit sets and yields significantly higher harvests than conventional varieties.
  • Professionally tested Toraf quality: Manufacturer Toraf ensures strict laboratory control, guaranteeing high seed germination and strong plant development from the first days.

⚙️ Instructions for use and care:
  • Soil and site preparation: Cucumbers require well-drained, humus-rich, nutrient-rich, well-aerated, and warm soil. They should be planted in a sunny location protected from strong winds.
  • Sowing time and depth: Sow seeds directly outdoors from the second half of May to June, once the risk of spring frosts has completely passed and the soil has warmed up. Sowing depth: 2–3 cm.
  • Sowing pattern (spacing): The recommended distance between rows is 70–90 cm, and between plants in a row is approximately 15 cm (sow one seed or 2–3 seeds in clusters at each point).
  • Watering: Cucumbers have very high moisture requirements, especially during flowering and fruit development. Water regularly and only with lukewarm water.
  • Harvesting: Harvest fruits regularly every other day. Timely harvesting of ripe cucumbers promotes the formation of new flowers and significantly extends the overall production period.
📦 Storage:
Store unopened seeds in their original, sealed manufacturer's packaging in a dry, cool, and dark place until sowing. Protect from moisture, direct sunlight, and garden pests. Use by the expiry date printed on the back of the packaging.
