An exceptionally early, high-quality, and unusually prolific yellow zucchini variety that delights gardeners with its reliability and bright, sunny fruits. Goldena is a highly favored variety among gardeners, forming strong, compact, and bushy plants in the garden. Since this zucchini does not spread with long, creeping vines, it perfectly saves space in the garden while providing a huge and continuous yield throughout the summer. The Žalia stotelė 2-gram package guarantees excellent seed quality and high germination rates for a successful and confident start to the gardening season.
🥒 Suitable for:
- Growing in home gardens and open fields: This variety is perfectly adapted for planting directly in garden beds under the open sky, thanks to its excellent resistance to local weather conditions.
- Lovers of exotic and colorful vegetables: A perfect choice for those who want to add a bright, sunny yellow accent to their garden and kitchen, which looks outstandingly effective.
- Home cooking and diverse meals: An ideal choice for frying zucchini in slices, grilling, vegetable stews, soups, casseroles, and making crispy zucchini pancakes.
- Preserving and freezing for winter: These zucchinis are excellent for pickling, making vegetable salads in jars, and freezing in pieces or grated for winter consumption.
✨ Key benefits:
- Perfect, cylindrical, and bright yellow fruits: Zucchinis grow into a distinct, straight cylindrical shape, smooth and colored in an attractive, uniform, and intensely yellow hue, ensuring excellent market appearance.
- Excellent pulp and taste structure: The zucchini pulp is creamy white, dense, juicy, and distinctly tender, with a small number of undeveloped seeds and a pleasant, slightly nutty taste.
- Compact bush form for easier care: The plant naturally forms a compact and strong bush that does not spread throughout the garden, making harvesting and watering extremely easy.
- Long-lasting and continuous harvest until autumn: This variety begins producing relatively early and continues to bear new flower clusters and fruits throughout the summer until the first autumn frosts.
- Economical and generous 2g packaging: Žalia stotelė seeds are characterized by excellent germination energy and purity, providing the gardener with a generous amount of seeds, fully sufficient to provide the entire family with zucchini.

⚙️ Growing instructions and recommendations:
- Growing seedlings: For the earliest harvest, sow seeds in individual seedling pots at the end of April or beginning of May, approximately two to three centimeters deep. Ensure constant warmth and moderate humidity until germination.
- Direct sowing into soil: In open ground, sow seeds directly into the bed in the second half of May or early June, when the soil has warmed up and the risk of spring frosts has passed. Sow one or two seeds per hole. The recommended planting distance between bushes is approximately one meter by eighty centimeters.
- Location and soil requirements: Zucchini require the sunniest, warmest, and most sheltered spot in the garden, protected from gusty winds. The soil should be loose, fertile, and previously abundantly enriched with compost, as these vegetables need a lot of nutrients.
- Proper harvesting: It is best to harvest the fruits when they reach 15–22 centimeters in length. At this stage, the skin is very thin (zucchini do not need to be peeled), the seeds are undeveloped, and the flesh is most delicious. Regular plucking of young fruits stimulates the bush to continuously produce new zucchini.
