Top-performance, high-quality iron sulfate (green vitriol), the strongest traditional and multifunctional agent for controlling moss and lichens in the garden. It serves as an indispensable aid for clearing lawns of moss, caring for fruit tree trunks, and preventing iron deficiency (chlorosis) in the soil. This crystalline powder dissolves perfectly in water, providing an instant and visible effect in garden cleaning and lawn restoration work.
🌱 Suitable for:
  • For moss removal in lawns: excellent for quickly clearing home lawns, sports fields, and ornamental grass of moss and lichens.
  • For cleaning fruit tree trunks: ideal for clearing apple, pear, plum trees, and shrub trunks and thick branches of moss, lichens, and parasites.
  • For preventing iron deficiency (chlorosis): necessary for feeding plants in soils lacking iron, which causes premature fading and yellowing of leaves and needles.
  • For antiseptic treatment of wooden structures: can be used for impregnating and protecting wooden fences, posts, and garden wooden frames against mold and rot.
Main advantages:
  • Lightning-fast and effective moss control: Causes moss to blacken and completely die within a few days of treatment, preventing it from spreading further and suppressing the grass.
  • Dark green and lush lawn tone: Iron ions directly promote intense chlorophyll production in plant cells, restoring a healthy, vibrant, and distinctly dark green color to the lawn.
  • Strengthens garden plant immunity: Helps cultivated plants, roses, and ornamental shrubs develop stronger tissue structure, improving their natural resistance to diseases and unfavorable weather conditions.
  • Multi-functional helper in the household: One package helps both save the lawn, tidy up the orchard, and disinfect wooden structures.
  • Excellent solubility without residue: The crystalline powder dissolves quickly and completely in water, so it can be safely used in any type of garden sprayer or watering can.

⚙️ Instructions for use and dosage:
  1. For moss control in lawns (spraying or watering):
    • For spraying: Dissolve 200–300 g of iron sulfate in 10 liters of water (sufficient for approximately 100 m²).
    • For watering (with a watering can): Dissolve 50–100 g per 10 liters of water.
    • Process: Apply in dry weather in spring or early summer. When the moss turns black and dries out after a few days, it must be raked out of the lawn (with a spring-tine rake or scarifier).
  2. For cleaning moss and lichen from fruit trees: Dissolve 300–500 g per 10 liters of water (3–5% solution). Thoroughly spray or treat tree trunks and branches in late autumn (after leaf fall) or early spring (before bud burst).
  3. For wood treatment against rot and mold: Dissolve 500 g of iron sulfate in 10 liters of water and apply to wood surfaces with a brush or sprayer.
⚠️ Important safety and usage conditions:
  • When working with this product, always use rubber gloves, safety glasses, and a respirator.
  • Attention to paving and terraces: Iron sulfate, when in contact with moisture, leaves indelible rust (brown) stains on concrete paving, tiles, stone, and wooden terraces. Apply carefully, and if powder or solution accidentally gets on such surfaces, it must be immediately and thoroughly washed off or cleaned!
📦 Storage:
Store in a dry, cool, dark place completely inaccessible to children and pets, in the original and tightly sealed packaging. The powder strongly attracts atmospheric moisture, so it must be protected from dampness to prevent it from hardening.
