A smart, ecological, and highly effective biotechnological agent for the timely detection and trapping of plum fruit moths (Grapholita funebrana) in the garden. The trap protects the plum harvest from larvae ("worms") that tunnel around the stone, contaminate the fruit, and cause them to drop prematurely.
The package contains 2 complete trap kits for the entire season. The product is completely non-toxic and safe for the environment, pets, birds, and bees.
🌳 Where to use:
- For plum and greengage trees in the garden
- Also suitable for other stone fruit trees commonly damaged by this pest (apricots, peaches).
🧬 How it works?
- Smart attraction: The capsule placed in the trap gradually releases a specific pheromone that attracts only male plum fruit moths.
- Trapping effect: Upon flying into the trap, the moths stick to the special, non-drying adhesive base and cannot escape.
- Population disruption: As males are trapped, females remain unfertilized, do not lay eggs on young fruits, and the pest population in the garden rapidly decreases.
✨ Key advantages:
- Clean harvest without chemicals: 100% safe alternative or supplement to chemical insecticides – fruits remain clean and organic.
- Targeted action: The pheromone attracts only this specific pest, without harming bees and other beneficial garden insects.
- Ready to use: The kit includes everything needed for immediate installation.
🧪 Technical data:

⚙️ Instructions for use:
- Preparation: Assemble the house-shaped trap and insert the sticky base into it.
- Capsule insertion: Using gloves or tweezers (to avoid damaging the aroma by touching it with your hands), place the pheromone capsule in the middle of the trap on the adhesive.
- Timing: Hang traps in the garden during plum blossom (usually in May), when pests begin their first flight.
- Placement: Hang the trap on the outer edge of the tree crown, at a height of approximately 1.5–2.5 meters, preferably on the south or west side, where there is no direct, scorching sunlight.
- Quantity: Use 1 trap per 1–2 trees
- Maintenance: Check the trap every 3–4 weeks. If the adhesive base is full of insects or dust, replace it.
📦 Storage:
Unused pheromones should be stored in their original packaging in a cool place (refrigerator or freezer) to maintain their effectiveness until use. Keep out of reach of children.
