High-quality, naturally pure, and exceptionally fast-growing common buckwheat (Fagopyrum esculentum) seeds from the world-renowned Italian "Golden Line" collection. This product belongs to the "Le Graminacee" series of cereals and beneficial plants and is specially designed for organizing natural soil processes during the summer months and after vegetable harvesting. It is an indispensable and reliable helper for soil restoration in gardens, resting greenhouses, and phosphorus binding, guaranteeing a strong root system for subsequent crops and protecting the soil from drying out and weeds.
🌱 Suitable for:
  • Soil improvement and green manure (siderate): Excellently suited for restoring the structure of depleted, heavy, or poor garden soil and increasing the humus layer.
  • Strengthening greenhouses and beds in summer: Great for sowing between main crops or immediately after early harvest to naturally purify and prepare the soil for subsequent plantings.
  • Bee pastures and establishing honey meadows: Ideal for gardens where you want to attract bumblebees and bees, as buckwheat flowers abundantly and for a long time with fragrant white flowers that produce a huge amount of sweet nectar.
  • Weed and layered garden plant suppression: Excellent for rapidly covering free garden areas, as buckwheat grows at lightning speed and naturally smothers even the most persistent weeds.
Key benefits:
  • Exclusive "Golden Line" quality: Seeds come from the historic and world-renowned Italian manufacturer Franchi Sementi (since 1783), which guarantees excellent varietal purity and maximum high germination energy.
  • Unique phosphorus binding in the soil: Buckwheat can absorb poorly soluble phosphorus compounds from the soil and convert them into a form easily absorbed by other plants (e.g., tomatoes or potatoes) after incorporation.
  • Amazingly fast growth cycle: This annual plant germinates and reaches maximum green mass in just 4–6 weeks after sowing, providing an immediate result in your garden.
  • Natural soil improver and phytosanitary agent: The fine but dense root system excellently loosens the topsoil, making the soil light and porous, and also helps reduce the spread of nematodes and pests.
  • 100% pure and ecological material: Contains no chemical toxic impurities or weed seeds. It is completely safe for the natural environment, pets, garden bees, and humans.

  • Series / Collection: Golden Line – Le Graminacee (Franchi Sementi, Italy).
  • Composition: 100% pure, high-quality common buckwheat seeds with excellent germination energy.
  • Characteristics: Exceptionally fast-growing, heat-demanding, not belonging to common garden plant families (a perfect preceding crop for anything).
  • Weight: 1 kilogram (1 kg).
  • Consumption / Area: For pure sowing, it is intended for sowing a garden area of up to 80 to 100 square meters (80–100 M²).
⚙️ Instructions for use and proportions:
  • Soil preparation: Before sowing, lightly loosen the topsoil in the garden or greenhouse with a rake. Buckwheat is heat-loving, so sow it only after the spring frosts have passed (from mid-May to early August).
  • Seed sowing and depth: Scatter the seeds evenly over the prepared area (approximately 1 kg per 100 m²). Work the seeds into the soil with a rake to a depth of approximately 2–3 cm, then lightly press or compact the soil.
  • Moisture maintenance: To ensure even germination of buckwheat, keep the soil moderately moist during the initial stage. Once the plant has grown, it will naturally retain moisture under its lush leaves.
  • Incorporation into the soil (green manure): It is best to cut or chop the plants and incorporate them (dig or plough in) into the soil to a depth of approximately 10–15 cm at the beginning of mass flowering, before the seeds ripen, when the plant contains the most valuable substances.
📦 Storage:
Store in a dry, cool, and dark place, in the original hermetically sealed packaging, away from food products. Protect from direct moisture and garden rodents to prevent the seeds from losing their high germination power. Keep out of reach of children.
